CAYMAN'S STORY:
Despite hard times, humble beginnings, and stints of homelessness, Cayman's hopes of becoming a musician were never dashed. The seemingly insurmountable odds against him never extinguished his ambition.
Cayman’s life story is as beautifully diverse as his Haitian/French Creole roots:
He went from living and singing on the island streets of Southwest Florida to standing in the spotlight in front of huge, captivated crowds.
During an impromptu appearance on a local stage, Cayman’s soaring vocals and magnetic charisma grabbed the attention of visiting music giants. Those same mentors also discovered and worked with another then-unknown artist: Prince.
Cayman grew up singing in church and taught himself how to play the piano and write songs, his love of music guiding him through dark times toward the light of a promising future.
